No place on the bench for Fornals, bit harsh.

They are going to be desperate and we will have the same problem with Deeney that we had with Murray. So defenders might be different again.
Other than that, I would have to wait for injuries. Lanzini Fornals Antonio to be included at least.

Fornals was completely anonymous yesterday. He needs to get used to the pace and physicality of the premier league, i reckon.

That's why you play him.

Already I'm struggling to care too much. We still look a poor side and the glaring midfield hole is still there. Whichever configuration of show ponies we assemble around the terrible Rice and whichever dreadful partner we chose to partner him will knock it about with flicks and tricks ineffectively while a more organised workmanlike side just gets the job done.
Another shit 1-1 for me and Watford will be pleased with it.

How can he get used to it if not even on the bench?

Thanks for the link!
I guess what I'm trying to say is that with that hole in midfield it doesn't matter who we play, we will struggle. It's annoying because it was so completely obvious we need to strengthen that position. Plus VAR is absolutely boiling my piss, it's a total game ruiner.

I think you will probably find more bites on the crotchet sites, to be honest.

I'm struggling to think which players will put in a shift. Really down to the manager to choose and if he leaves out certain players because they are not (in his opinion) right for the game or injured that's up to him.
Either way our squad should beat Watford, and our next 3 games should all be wins. This is supposed to be the next level yet we lose to Man City by more goals than previous encounters and we struggle to beat Brighton. Nothing has improved.

writes itself a bit doesn't it?
the only iffy one is diop has been a bit toilet this season (as well as pre-season) and probably a lot worse than ogbonna, but i'd still start him because we know his level.
noble must be loving it.

Ernie Johnson has been playing center back for the U23's in the last few games perhaps "our man for all seasons " can step up into the void.

what other have said about the midfield. We simply haven't addressed the hole there and it has shown.

It is what has been said for years but did we see that yesterday?
We got done at set pieces, long balls and not keeping the ball ourselves, I think. The headers won were 30-14 but we did out dribble them.
Watford have been playing two upfront, so the midfield might not be the problem again. It might be Deeney again.
